Introduction

My actual hand-written journal was written in point form, and even though I want to elaborate on those points in this weblog-journal to make it much more exciting and animated, I have decided against it. The reason being that I don't want to add any thoughts and feelings that I may have now (looking back on the experience) but may not have had while the experience was still fresh in my mind. Thus, my apologies if the format is not to your liking (it's not to my liking either). I just feel that it needs to be done this way.

Almost missed our flight home!

- woke up @ 4am, used phone, took taxi to airport
- Bri and I checked in while Judith had to go somewhere else and pay cuz she didn't have her return ticket on her, she mailed it home by accident!
- waited for Bri to pay for his Visa overstay
- boarded plane @ 7:15am, supposed to board @ 6:50am!!!
- finally got on airplane!!
- 2 hour stop over in Taipei
- didn't sleep much on flight to Taipei cuz Bri and I were trying to get our TVs to work! Watched half of Vanity Fair
- boarded plane to Vancouver, watched Vanity Fair again! didn't sleep at all! TIRED!!!
- watched Cellular until we landed
- landed safe and sound and happy to be home!

Last night in Thailand

- woke up @ 9am to have free buffet breakfast!
- we walked to subway all the way to Chatuchak Market
- shopped until 4pm
- took skytrain to Central World Plaza, Bri got his roller runners, had Swensen's ice cream!
- went to Central Chidlom to buy groceries, Bri and Judith bought a crapload of Pocky, I got Tim Tams
- took taxi to hotel - lots of shopping bags!
- got boxes from 7 eleven and picked up laundry
- packed all our stuff and slept @ 2am

Shopping in the big city

- arrived in Bangkok @ 5:30am
- checked into Amari Atrium @ 6am, slept until 12pm
- took 2:30pm shuttle bus to Central World Plaza, used phone, dropped off laundry
- Bri went to investigate his Visa stuff while Judith and I shopped
- supposed to meet Bri every hour (4pm, 5, 6, and leave after 7pm)
- missed 6pm meeting cuz we were in Naraya buying satin goods!
- Judith and I left mall @ 7pm, took skytrain and walked 30-40mins to Amari Atrium - Bri wasn't there
- we watched 3 movies while waiting for Bri to arrive, he didn't get in until 11:30pm!
- I had room service, then slept

Travel to Bangkok

- woke up @ 10:40am, checked out @ 11:30am
- ate lunch and took 12pm taxi to Nathan, arrived @ 12:40pm
- took 2pm ferry to Doi Thup (??)
- took bus to Surat Thani @ 4:45pm
- took 7:30pm bus from Surat Thani to Bangkok (10 hrs), stopped in Chumphong for food

Eye infection

- went on internet @ 12pm while Bri and Judith slept
- ate lunch with Bri and Judith
- sun tanned by pool while Bri used internet and phone
- chilled in room
- went back to Galaxy Resort to get my deposit that I forgot to get before we checked out
- came back and waited 45 mins for Judith, she was shopping for a bathing suit
- ate dinner, I had the hugest eye problem!
- had Bri and Judith drop me off at the hotel cuz of my eye while they went to pubs to drink
- eye got better after I got off the motor scooter and even before I got into our room
- watched Godfather and washed hair, nursed my eye
- eye felt much better, still swollen and red though
- Bri and Judith came home @ 2am

Muay Thai

- checked out of Galaxy Resort, Bri drove me to phones while he drove Judith to Chewang
- talked to Marcus and bought eye drops
- went to Chewang Cove Resotel and checked in (500 Baht/room/night/2 nights, one room)
- went on internet and used MSN webcam
- ate lunch @ hotel restaurant while Judith was sun tanning
- Bri returned scooter while Judith and I read and watched Matrix and slept
- Bri and Judith went for a run while I slept again, felt shitty
- watched Mauy Thai Boxing
- went to 7 eleven, went back to hotel, had awesome, strong, hot shower

Movie night

- left place @ 11am to look for a place in Chewang, found one after 3 hours, move there tomorrow
- ate late lunch, went on internet, almost bought 2 pairs of shox while Bri and Judith were on internet
- got ticket to Bangkok
- watched White Chicks 7-9pm, then 50 First Dates 9-10:30 @ Will Wait restaurant
- Bri watched Supersize Me while Judith and I got foot massages
- went back to Will Wait and watched end of Supersize Me
- went to hotel and listened to more Farang/Liso sex

Lazy day

- woke up @ 11:30am, had lunch in Lamai
- we all felt like shit
- drove to rock formations
- drove back home and slept until 8:30pm
- ate dinner @ Indian restaurant again!
- looked for a new place to stay, every place was fully booked cuz of tsunami
- Bri and Judith played ping pong @ Sportsman's Bar, had to pay 210 Baht cuz we didn't want to drink, I just sat and rested, still felt like shit
- listened to Farang's and Liso's fuck in the hotel room above us before bed

New Year's Day

- woke up @ 2:30pm, used phones to call everyone to wish a happy new year!
- ate lunch @ Indian restaurant in Chewang again
- had gelato and Baskin Robbins
- throat hurt, starting to feel sick, bought antibiotics before lunch but didn't take them
- Bri and Judith played pool at Sportsman's Bar while I slept on the coach in the bar
- went to Big Star club @ 10:30pm to watch Lady Boy cabaret show
- felt like shit all night in bed
